Talk On Youth Marijuana Use To Take Place May 7 In Wells

The Traip Academy Heath Coordinating Team, along with the Choose To Be Healthy, Healthy Maine Partnership at York Hospital, invites you to A Community Presentation on the Harmful Effects of Youth Marijuana Use. The presentation will take place on Monday, May 7, from 5:30-7 p.m., at the York County Community College in Wells.

Dr. Mark Publicker (left), an addiction medicine specialist at the Mercy Recovery Center in Westbrook and President of the Northern New England Society of Addiction Medicine, will speak about the harmful effects of marijuana use, addiction and the effects of medical marijuana on our youth use and beliefs about marijuana.

This evening is geared for adults, however, mature youth are welcome to attend with parent or guardian. Light refreshments will be provided.
