Student Google Meet On Race & Activism Set For July 8

posted Jul 2, 2020, 10:25 AM by Seth Cole
On Wednesday, July 8, 1-2pm, Mrs. Martin and Ms. Diharce will be hosting a Google Meet conversation on race, racism, activism, and more.

We hope to provide a safe space where students can talk openly, ask questions, and share how they are feeling and impacted. We plan to share videos and read books as well.  These meetings will continue on a bi-weekly basis throughout the summer.

You are welcome to join for any and all meetings. All 4th and 5th graders are welcome (going into 5th and 6th). CRTP members have already received a calendar invitation with the meeting information.

If you are not a CRTP member or haven't received theinvitation, please email  kmartin@kitteryschools.com for the meeting ID so you can join us.  We will use the same meeting ID for all the meetings. Siblings and parents are welcome as observers, but please know this is geared toward Shapleigh 4/5 students...we'd like them to have their voices heard and be able to speak openly.

Let us know if you would like to meet in a smaller group or privately with me and/or Ms. Diharce. Hope to see you on July 8th at 1pm! -Mrs. Martin and Ms. Diharce
