Sixth Graders Help Let Shoppers Know About Pollutants

Shapleigh School sixth graders Jonathan Brenner, Eva Carr, Aubrie Murdock, Torrie Murdock, and Lily Watts spray-painted stencils near Tanger Outlets and Kittery Trading Post storm drains on Monday, June 6. The signs let visitors know that pollutants going into the drains enter Spruce Creek. This was done in cooperation with the Town of Kittery and its Shoreline Officer Jessa Kellogg. Keep Spruce Creek clean! Thank you to sixth grade science teacher Peter Cady for organizing, and providing the pictures!
