Dozens of Shapleigh School students and staff ran and walked at the annual Kittery K-8 PTA Seaside 4 (and 2) Miler, held Sunday, September 25 in beautiful Fort Foster in Kittery Point.

New this year was a 2-mile race, won by Shapleigh sixth grader Tarik El-Badry. Fellow sixth grade Conor McPherson was the top Shapleigh boy in the 4-mile division, while fifth grader Olivia Kenney was the fastest Shapleigh girl in the 4-mile race, and fourth grader Emelie Rollins in the 2-mile race.

A huge thank you to Sybil Carven, and to all the volunteers and event organizers for their tireless efforts. All proceeds from the race go back to support all three of Kittery's public schools.
