Shapleigh Nutrition Program, Maine Harvest Week Featured

The Shapleigh School nutrition program and Maine Harvest Week were featured in the Portsmouth (N.H.) Herald and the Seacoast Online newspapers on Thursday, September 20. Local renowned chef and Kittery parent David Vargas came to Shapleigh School on Wednesday to help prepare lunch for Shapleigh students. Shapleigh nutrition director Karen Sweeney was also featured in the article, which highlights Kittery school's strong connection to local food sources.
