Shapleigh Eighth Graders Walk Boston's Freedom Trail

posted Oct 28, 2016, 5:34 PM by Seth Cole
More than 80 Shapleigh School eighth graders braved cool and windy conditions on Friday, October 28 and walked the entire Freedom Trail in historic Boston. Along the three-mile route, students saw the U.S.S. Constitution ("Old Ironsides"), took the 294 steps up to the top of Bunker Hill Monument, saw the Paul Revere Home, had lunch at Quincy Market near Faneuil Hall, and much more. Students completed a scavenger hunt along the way, answering questions about the historic sites they saw along the way.
