The Shapleigh School is sending an Odyssey of the Mind team to the World Finals in Iowa later this month, and there are ways you can help! The big fundraising event is called "Kittery OM Mania", and will be held on Saturday May 17 at the Shapleigh School from 1-3:30pm. The main event is a giant game of musical chairs, which has a grand prize of a $400 Go-Pro Camera donated by the Kittery Trading Post. Tickets are $10 for musical chairs and can be purchased from any OM-er. There will also be bouncy houses and games at no charge, as well as face painting, shaved ice and more!

The team is also having a tag day on Saturday, May 10 at the Kittery Transfer Station from 7-11am, as well as at Carl’s Meat Market, Golden Harvest, the Kittery Trading Post and the Market Basket in Portsmouth, NH.

Also for sale at events around town and at the schools will be Kittery Proud bracelets.

Finally, at The Kittery Block Party next month, The Black Birch restaurant has generously offered their lemonade stand, stocked and ready.

As always, cash donations are appreciated online at or by mail to Kittery Odyssey of the Mind.
