Some quotes from Shapleigh School staff members about El-Badry:

"Leila is a wonderful student. She is hard working, helpful, caring, and a great role model for her peers. She is very deserving of this award. Congratulations Leila."

"I have always found Leila to be reflective, thoughtful, and committed to doing her best work. I'm very impressed with this young lady!"

"Leila is conscientious, interested in learning, always respectful, attentive, and shares her strengths with her peers by setting a good example. She is an avid reader, a true Shapleigh Shark and a please to work with."

"Leila is very observant, inquisitive, and asks a lot of questions, the right questions. I witnessed Leila's transformation from being a 'learner' to being an 'independent learner'. She gave 110% effort to everything she did and constantly double-checked her assignments for accuracy. Congratulations Leila!"
