Kittery Welcomes Friends From Japan For 26th Time

For the 26th time, Kittery welcomes our friends from from Oirase and Rokunohe in the prefecture of Aomori, Japan. Twelve Japanese students and their chaperones arrived in Boston on Monday, January 6, and after a day tour of the city, arrived in Kittery in time for dinner and ice skating Tuesday evening. Wednesday featured the Opening Assembly held in the Shapleigh School gymnasium. Thursday will showcase Japanese student cultural presentations, and Friday will including a field trip to Traip Academy to use their climbing wall, and a trip to Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth.
