Great Kindness Challenge To Be Held Jan. 23-27

posted Jan 20, 2017, 5:29 AM by Seth Cole
The Great Kindness Challenge, a worldwide friendly competition designed to encourage a culture of kindness in schools, takes place January 23-27. The Shapleigh School is one of thousands of schools expected to take part in the week-long event. Each homeroom at Shapleigh is challenged to do an "anonymous" act of kindness somewhere thought the school. The act of kindness can be from the 50-item checklist on the Great Kindness Challenge website, or it can be a different act of kindness. The week will end with an all-school assembly on Friday, January 27 from 1:10-2pm, where students will come together in the gymnasium to find out what each class chose as their act of kindness.
