Great Kindness Challenge Takes Place At Shapleigh!

posted Jan 27, 2016, 8:20 AM by Seth Cole
The Shapleigh School is taking part in The Great Kindness Challenge, an event celebrated the last week of January each year. The celebration challenges students and staff to perform as many acts of kindness in one week as possible. Students have 50 acts of kindness to check off from a list, ranging from "Pick up 10 pieces of trash" to "Help a younger student" to "Bring a flower to the office staff". During the 2015 Great Kindness Challenge, more than two million students inspired more than 109 million acts of kindness, and in 2016 those totals are expected to be even higher!
