Farmer's Feast Community Dinner To Be Held March 18

The Kittery School Nutrition Program is excited to announce its Second Annual Farmer's Feast Community Dinner! Meet our local farmers to learn about their farms and discover what fresh produce they offer our schools.

Mitchell School, Shapleigh School and Traip Academy will have informational booths for their school gardens, greenhouses, sustainability and/or their Green Teams. 5210! Let's Go!, Fuel Up to Play 60, Maine Dairy Council and other groups will also talk about their programs.

Visit the Maine Department of Education Child Nutrition table and find out how they support Farm-to-School.

This event is for students, families, staff and community members to enjoy one of our great meals. School lunch has grown leaps and bounds and we want to showcase the positive changes!

Superintendent Hutton and administrators will be blending nutritious and delicious Smoothies!

The Shapleigh Spring Concert will start at 7:00 p.m.

Location: Shapleigh School, 43 Stevenson Road

Dinner: 5:00-6:30 p.m.

Menu: American Chop Suey, bread, dessert and our famous salad bar

Concert: 7:00 p.m.

Dinner Cost: Adult $5.00 - Student $3.00

Smoothie: 1.50 each
