Some quotes from staff:

"Caroline is always so eager to jump into a project. Whether it's taking pictures and working diligently on the yearbook, to helping organize and lead the 4-5th grade running club, Caroline gives 100% in whatever she does. I've enjoyed watching her mature and gain confidence, both inside and outside the classroom. She is very much deserving of this honor!"

"Caroline is a great kid who seems to be always smiling. Smiles brighten people's day and Caroline is a shining example of how sharing a smile equals sharing happiness."

"Caroline is a hard working, kind and helpful student. She is a great role model to her peers both academically and socially. It is a pleasure to have her as a student."

"Caroline has been a wonderful addition to the Shapleigh band program for the past three years. She always comes to rehearsal with a smile and an upbeat attitude and brings a lot of energy to the clarinet section! She is a worthy recipient of this award. Well done Caroline!"

"I miss having this wonderfully creative, adventurous, and conscientious student!!! She was a vital part of class discussions, group work and of course, class performances:) She is an OG of "Explorer's Cafe", a short play to introduce 5th grade students to a unit on Exploration. Being a member of this mini-troupe really shows her fearlessness, willingness to work together with others, and a desire to give back. Her demeanor is a great balance of energy and mischievousness--a trait that I know will aid in her exploration of new areas in life. I admire her determination and her grit, and am looking forward to seeing where she goes in life!"

"Caroline is one of the most polite students I've ever met. She uses manners, kindness, and smiles when interacting with others. When I look out into the crowd in the classroom, she is always looking back at me, nodding, and attentive to what is happening. Caroline is not afraid of hard work, either. She puts her best effort into all of her school work. If she is unsure of something, she's willing to ask for clarification. I love her dramatic flair, which shows itself if the students get to do skits in class or any public speaking, as well as in the musical. Overall, I am impressed by Caroline as a person and can't wait to see where she goes in life."
